The room was quaint and worked for what we needed. The bathroom sink was comically small, but the bed was extremely comfortable. The people that run the guesthouse are top notch. Maria, I believe her name is, was a fantastic host. Super warm and friendly, very helpful. The location of the guesthouse is great for walking to bars and restaurants. There are tons of options within a 25 min walk. The backyard was lovely for sitting during the evenings. The hot tub looked well maintained and is quite large. The only downside to the stay was the noise level during rest hours. Sometimes people could be quite noisy, and being an old house it’s easy to hear others. Overall it was a fantastic stay, great value and I’d stay again.

Great breakfast and hospitality! The owner has stayed in all the rooms to see how it feels to be a guest in all of them! They are continuing to improve as they are new establishment but the improvements to be made are minor. They welcome a home feeling, spices in the cupboards and everything you would need to cook your meals even though there are very nice restaurants close by. I would stay again!

The place is so comfortable. The young lady that manages the place is adorable. So welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast setting in the mornings makes you feel like a family vacation gathering. The "hot tub" is a Olympic size pool. Super comfortable. The layout is fantasy like. Updated and presentable within the streets of buffalo city. Amazing food within walking distance. Id return just to stay here again.

This place is a great place to stay, a cool Spa (turn nozzles to increase power) and a nice clean design. The showers are communal, but each room has a nice bathroom. The breakfast was good with toast and egg things. Would recommend.

Wes and his team are great. They treat each other well, they treat the guests well. Clean rooms, hot tub. Wes gave me a solid tour of the place, like I saw him do with other guests. There are board games, TV, a backyard, hot tub. Organized operations. Reasonable price. Free breakfast in the morning. Wes is reasonable and easy to talk to. Good business with good boundaries.

Very Welcoming place. The name is perfect, the staff is so friendly and inviting you feel like a guest in their home. Great value if you’re looking for a place to stay in Buffalo. Be aware that the rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. We loved it! Met several other guests at our home cooked breakfast. Which was delicious! We all agreed it was a fantastic place to stay. Everyone was visiting Buffalo for different reasons. We chose this house because we could walk to the Anchor Bar for buffalo wings in the place they were invented. Lots of beautiful old homes and history in the neighborhood. Have to also mention the Hot Tub. It was the best!!!! Bring your swim suit.

I want to start by saying that my husband and I live and breathe football. I’m a colts fan and he’s a bills fan. The bills fan energy is contagious though. We planned our first NFL experience for the bills v pats. We had so many plans going into the trip. Macys place, barbill, etc. We actually were perfectly content staying in Allentown. Let’s just say upon arrival, we checked into the Buffalo guesthouse. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We arrived later and it was amazing to see staff cooking dinner for each other and enjoying their night. The owner does personal tours and really makes you feel welcome. You can really connect with people here or do your own thing. We spent a lot of time exploring Allentown but absolutely loved being here. The entry code and room key made things easily accessible. Having an ice machine made me happy as I love my water cold. Upon exploring Allentown many of the business owners knew each other which gave it the homey feeling. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. It was a long trip for us but I’m looking forward to going back.

I had a wonderful stay at Buffalo Guesthouse with my partner. It’s a mix between a hospitable bed & breakfast and an eclectic hostel. The other guests were all fellow Bills fans and it was great to meet everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was always tasty. The location was also ideal - Allentown was a treat to explore. Thanks Buffalo Guesthouse, we’ll be back!
